The Delhi High Court on Tuesday slammed Twitter Inc for non-compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Code of Conduct) Rules, 2020, saying it did not provide any protection to Twitter and the Center was free to take any action against him, the court further said that it had already made it clear that Twitter needed to comply if it wanted to work in India.

India has reportedly ordered an investigation against Google. According to a report, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has said that Google has abused its dominant position of Android in the smart TV market. CCI also said, “By making pre-installation of Google’s proprietary apps (particularly Play Store) for all Android devices, Google has reduced the ability and incentive of device manufacturers to develop and sell devices operating on alternative versions of Android”.

State Bank of India has warned its customers against KYC (Know Your Customer) frauds. It said the threat is very real and has spread across the country. It also suggested ways to keep your account safe from such frauds. SBI twitted “KYC fraud is real, and it has proliferated across the country. The fraudster sends a text message pretending to be a bank/company representative to get your personal details.”

This means that only trading on the NSE has been impacted due to the technical glitch. Tesla Inc will set up an electric car manufacturing unit in Karnataka, a TV channel reported on Saturday, citing Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa.On January 8, it registered a company named Tesla India Motors and Energy in Bengaluru. The US electric carmaker is known to be doing R&D in association with at least one of the auto engineering companies in Bengaluru.

Apple analyst Neil Cybart has shared a report showing there are currently over 100 million people wearing an Apple Watch. According to the analyst, Apple Watch took less than six years to cross the 100 million milestone. The company has been removing the option to share posts from the feed to stories for some users as part of a new test.
